Late posting my nutrition meeting results again! I need to get these posted in a more timely manner!
As I suspected, my four lb. weight loss is too good to be true! It happened, and hitting the new milestone was good, but Traci said that I will probably move back up a little now that I am healthy and eating. I’m just going to outsmart that silly scale and not weigh until January 12 – that way, I won’t see any increase and as far as I know, I’m still at the 35 lb. milestone. Who knows? I may eve be down one more by January 12!
It’s really silly, isn’t it? I know the loss was abnormal and any increase would be legitimate, but I just don’t want to see it. I’m doing this to get healthy – not obsess about the scales – but still those scales play head games with me!
My goals for this week:
- Move every day. We’re putting a hold on the elliptical goals until my heel feels better, but I need to move safely for 30 minutes each day.
- Increase the veggies. I’ve been a slacker on trying new ones and even incorporating the ones I like during the hectic holidays, but now it’s time to start getting serious about them again.
- Don’t weigh until January 12. Traci suggested that, and I added it as a goal so I will seriously not be tempted to step on the scales.
- Ice my heel every night. Plantar fasciitis flared up after standing at 701 Whaley so long during the parking meter event. Seeing Dr. DaSilva at Midlands Ortho on Monday for follow up knee visit; will have him look at it then. (Knee doing MUCH better, though!)
