Last night, I tried to download ios7 on my iPhone 4s. Sometime in the middle of the night, I woke up to find that the download had failed and my iPhone frozen on a screen that looks like this.
To add insult to injury, iTunes won’t even detect my iPhone when I plug it into my laptop, so I can’t event do a recovery.
I have Googled the issues, been to a multitude of forums and tried many things. What have I tried the most? My patience.
I do not want to spend my entire weekend working on this. The weekend is too short – heck, LIFE is too short – and I don’t know enough to fix the problem. On the eve of my 40-somethingth birthday, however, I have matured enough to ask for help.
Is there anywhere in Columbia, SC can I take my iPhone and/or laptop to have this issue fixed? I am more than willing to pay someone else to handle what I cannot. Or is this an Apple store issue?
For now, please reply to this blog or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any suggestions. I obviously won’t have use of my iPhone anytime soon.
