I’m trying my best to drink at least 64 oz. of water each day. On strength training days, it’s not hard; I generally have my 64 oz.. in by 7 a.m. Other days, however, are a bit more difficult. Sometimes I want something more than plain water, but I hate the additives in flavored waters and low-calorie drink powders like Crystal Light. I recently found a GREAT solution, though: a Citrifuse flavor enhancer water bottle.
I came across the Citrifuse while searching an infuser pitcher on Amazon. I liked the idea of a pitcher, but I loved the thought of a portable, more convenient sports bottle-type infuser. I ordered it immediately – with overnight shipping – and have absolutely fallen in love with it.
Flavor possibilities are limitless; you can use fruit, vegetables, herbs or any combination thereof. So far, I’ve used it with fresh, local strawberries and blueberries, and the water has been so refreshing. I love that the taste is natural and the water clear. Now that the strawberry season is coming to an end, I’m looking forward to trying other fruit combinations. I’m especially excited about trying some fresh South Carolina peaches and perhaps some mint from my herb garden.
Here are some of the cool features:
- 25-oz. BPA free strong single wall construction
- Available in eight colors: black, white, red, orange, blue, purple, lime, yellow
- Twist on lid with detachable straw
- Flip-top spout and easy carry handle
- Bottom up fruit flavor infuser
- Easy to clean – top and bottom twist off for easy cleaning
- Bottom Up Infuser is Perfect for Continuous Flavored Water
- 10″ H X 2 3/8″ D – Fits Neatly in Most Cup Holders
I only purchased one, but I’m about to order a second one. They’re only $15.97, which isn’t much more than a plain water bottle. I purchased the white one before, but I think I’ll go purple or lime this time around. If you’re interested in trying the Citrifuse, click here to see it on Amazon.com. (I haven’t seen them anywhere else.) Happy Drinking!
