So I have some GREAT news to share today, but I’m also a little hesitant to share it. You see, if I share it, I have to admit that I’ve broken a challenge that Traci, my nutritionist gave me, but I think it’s worth it.
I weighed this morning, and I’ve hit (and surpassed) 40 lbs. lost. On my scales, I was down to 188.4 from my starting weight of 228.8, almost 40.5 lbs. Sooo excited to get out of the 190s. It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was working to get out of the 200s, so 180-anything feels great.
But, Traci challenged me not to weigh, and while I have been weighing in less, I’m still checking in on the scales once a week. The challenge was designed to 1) keep me focused on health and other success indicators, and 2) prevent me from becoming obsessed with the scales. And I understand that. But for now, I’m glad I did weigh today and am thrilled with the results!
