Need an Extra Hour – DON’T Need to Lose One

I’ve really been cutting it close lately, especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays! I get up at 4:30 a.m., hit the gym at 5 a.m. and get home at 7 a.m. Between 7 and 8:15 a.m., I eat, shower, dress for work and pack my snacks and lunch. But I’m ALWAYS flying out at 8:20 a.m., barely making it to work by 8:30 a.m.

Tonight, I’m trying something new. I’m doing everything I possibly can tonight instead of tomorrow: ironing and laying out clothes, packing my lunch and snacks, filling up my water bottle and packing my tote for work. If it only gets me 10-15 minutes, it will help.

And speaking of time, I’m a little anxious about the time change. I survived “fall back,” but that was GETTING an extra hour. This weekend, we’re losing one. That means when I wake up, it will really be 3:30 a.m. YIKES!

Anyone got tips for adjusting (quickly) to the time change? The only suggestion I’ve found via Google suggests setting all clocks and watches forward early on Saturday afternoon to slowly get used to it.
