Traci surprised me with a cool Christmas gift after this morning’s workout: Michael Pollan’s In Defense of Food! I can’t wait to read it – and I will hopefully have some good reading time Thursday through Sunday! (And you know I’ll share the deets with you once I’m done!)
I gave Traci and Paul Snappy Beans, refreshing fresh snap beans marinated in a savory vinegar base pickled with fresh garlic, jalapeno pepper, and dill. (No salt, no sugar!) I’d actually planned on making something very similar, but then I saw these in The State. I figured that these would not only save me time and stress, but would probably taste a lot better! For George, I found and very reluctantly purchased University of Florida coasters.
